| Non-Saudi | 0% | 2% (occupational hazards) |
One thing to verify by hand
A reform phases higher contributions for employees who joined recently.
This calculator uses the standard rates. Check the schedule that applies to the joining date before you rely on a figure.
Estimate the contribution
This is an estimate, and it is not legal, tax, payroll or compliance advice. Rules, dates and the facts of one employee can change the result. Verify it with the authority before you pay.
Answers
What counts in the GOSI base?
Basic pay plus the housing allowance, up to the monthly cap. Other allowances are outside the base.
What does an employer pay for a non-Saudi employee?
2% of the base, for occupational hazards. The employee contributes nothing.
Does Helm use these rates in payroll?
Yes, and your workspace can override a rate with a written reason. The override is then stated beside the registry default.
